Identify the actual changed field
Treat the received package as a new evidence check rather than silently keeping whichever saved webpage statement is more convenient. Compare exact product name, count, dimensions, material wording and warnings. A different pack size or food-contact instruction can change both the purchase denominator and the permitted task.
Keep both versions
For example, Tesco’s separate 20-count 50 L tie-top record 301691734 showed£2.75 and an out-of-stock message during our research. It is not the selected 30-count tie-handle 321788728 pack at£2.25. Their similar litre labels do not make the price, count, length or availability interchangeable. We preserve the distinction rather than using the cheaper selected count with another listing’s description.
Resolve restrictions before assuming permission
The Bacofoil maker page also phrases the dishwasher boundary both as below 70°C in usage and not exceeding 70°C in care. That difference remains visible, not solved by approving the boundary ourselves. Where safety-related instructions differ, ask the maker about the actual current version before assuming the intended use is supported.
Rebuild the purchase record
Save the exact new quote and quantity separately, and recalculate only after the relevant fields are established. We do not collect package photos, order numbers or family information here. Current received-pack inspection and independent material/food-contact/content review remain pending;successful website arithmetic does not complete them.
A purchase case to keep explicit
For a page/package discrepancy, keep the actual date and exact version rather than overwriting the older observation. Ask the retailer or maker which instruction applies to the received product. A completed code build or price calculation cannot resolve a missing physical label.
