A capacity number is not a shape
No. A nominal litre capacity does not establish the bag’s opening shape, usable length or how much material folds over a particular bin rim. Bins with the same stated capacity can have different proportions. The selected Tesco liner’s approximate rim and overall length are useful source fields, but they are not an actual fit trial in your bin.
Read the exact rim and length
For the 30-pack selection, the page gives rim 126 cm and length 90.5 cm including handles. Handle allowance matters because an overall length is not automatically the depth available below the rim after fastening. We have not inspected gussets or established a measured usable interior. The source does not give a flat-width field we can safely substitute.
Ask about the real opening
A practical purchasing check is to identify the exact bin’s opening and required liner reach, then ask the liner supplier for an appropriate current dimension definition. Do not derive litres by multiplying a guessed flat width and length or infer a maximum safe load from capacity. The stock tool deliberately refuses those conversions.
Keep uncertainty visible
If fit is uncertain, a verified sample or the seller’s actual return process is more useful than an invented compatibility badge. Keep 50 L as the manufacturer’s nominal description and leave personal bin fit unresolved. No claim of leak-free containment, maximum load or guaranteed closure is made by this site.
A purchase case to keep explicit
If a bin is tall and narrow, its volume label alone cannot establish liner reach or rim coverage. Ask about the exact source’s dimension definitions and your bin’s actual opening. Our record does not assign a personal fit result from the nominal 50 L description.
